Zero and Yuuki Icon Tutorial




Using Photoshop CS2 & Selective Coloring & Not Translatable.






1. Select picture and crop to 100x100.

2. Duplicate two times, and place the first one on multiply at 50%, then the second layer on soft light.

3. Use your paint brush to color the manga, each color on a different layer, and every layer blend mode on multiply, until you finish the icon. (how ever you want it.)

4. Merge

5. Duplicate to times put the first layer on screen at 45%, and then the second layer on soft light at 65%.

6. Add New Adjustment layer > Selective Coloring

*Red*

Cyan -100

Yellow +100

Cyan +100

Yellow -100

--------------

*Black*

Cyan +30

Yellow -20

--------------

7. Using this texture that has been resized to 133x100, and then place the texture on soft light.

8. The paste the gradient on the icon at multiply at 43%

9. add a new layer with the color #03772a, and then place it on difference.

10. add a new layer with the #9fc3f9, and then place it on saturation at 30%.

11.Merge
12. Duplicate and multiply.

13. add a new layer and then use the brush tool on size 19, on white and then make a line blog thing, and then gaussian blur at the radius of 8.9, and at the opacity of 65%

14. then add black text, add a 5 pixel white border, and then a 1 pixel black and white dashed border. then merge.
